Flight ops software for small Canadian operators
Run your operation on
one digital system, not five spreadsheets.
FlightPathOS brings digital scheduling, flight following, digital flight plans, and duty compliance into one affordable platform. Built for small Canadian operators under CARS 702 / 703 / 604 / 406 still running on Excel, paper, and outdated systems looking to begin their digital transformation.
Currently onboarding a limited number of early operators, who get priority integration pricing.
See it in action
Intelligent Schedule Builder
Assigns aircraft and crew automatically by weighing pairing continuity, home base, workload balance, maintenance windows, CARS flight duty limits, and aircraft utilization against your flight scheduling demands, using Canadian-based Cohere's AI models under the hood. Scheduling draws from pre-assigned aircraft and crew profiles, each built on role, availability, crew currency, and rated criteria, so the builder works within what your operation has actually cleared. It flags what it can't legally schedule instead of guessing, and scores every run so you can see the trade-offs. Work through Planning, Draft, and Live modes; a person signs off before anything reaches your crew.
The problem
Great operators, held back by paper and spreadsheets.
Most small operators still run scheduling, duty tracking, flight logs, and passenger manifests across spreadsheets, thick binders, and paper flight plans. It works, until a Transport Canada audit takes weeks to sort out, or an IRROPs situation leaves you without the full picture to make the right call. Time that should go to the strategic side of running the operation gets spent on manual and timely admin instead, and safety or compliance details can get inadvertently overlooked in the shuffle.
FlightPathOS isn't built for a major airline's ops centre. It's built for the operator running a handful of aircraft who wants the same digital footing, without the enterprise price tag or a six-month rollout.
Core system
Flight Scheduling & Calendar Overview
Build and manage your entire flight schedule in one place. Switch between Aircraft, Day, Week, and Month views, each displaying flight cards with route, crew, aircraft, and status at a glance. An efficient overview of your full operation without digging through spreadsheets or toggling between tools.
Crew Calendar & FDP Dashboard
Each crew member gets a dedicated personal calendar showing only their assigned operations: flights, duties, rest periods, and rolling FDP totals. Isolated profiles mean crew see exactly what they need without access to the broader operational system, keeping sensitive scheduling data where it belongs.
Active Flight Following & Dispatch
Track flights in real time: mark departed, arrived, delayed, or report an IRROPS event, with automatic time logs captured as it happens instead of pieced together afterward from radio calls and notepads. Coupled with real-time tracking updates via a FlightAware API integration built into the platform.
Digital Flight Plans & Saved Routes
Generate a full operational flight plan within seconds for all flight parameters, including weight and balance, fuel loads, passenger count, and saved route profiles for the legs you fly every week.
Crew, Fleet & Duty Compliance
Crew qualifications, currency, and duty types (flying, reserve, training, deadhead) alongside aircraft status and maintenance hours. Daily and 28-day rolling FDP is tracked against your CARs subpart, in addition to smaller and more complex duty limits and regulations, with rest periods validated automatically.
Passenger Manifest Parsing
Booking systems are complex and well-integrated into how you sell and manage reservations, so FlightPathOS doesn't try to replace them. Instead, paste or upload a manifest (PDF or text) and passengers are parsed straight onto the correct flight, special requests like wheelchair assistance included. No manual re-entry from a PDF or an email chain.
Live METAR & TAF
Current conditions and forecasts for any Canadian airport (wind, visibility, ceiling, altimeter), pulled in real time so a weather check doesn't mean leaving the platform.
Saved Data & Digital Filing for TC Audits
Every schedule, flight plan, manifest, and duty record is saved and organized automatically, ready to hand over for a Transport Canada audit, and yours to export any time.

Roadmap items are directional, not commitments; timing can shift as the platform develops with early operators.
Deployment
Your own instance. Your own database. Built in Canada.
Every operator gets a fully isolated deployment with its own instance and its own database. Your flight data never sits in a shared database next to another operator's. FlightPathOS is designed, built, and owned in Canada, and priced for an operator running a handful of aircraft, not a six-month enterprise rollout.
- Per-account credentials with lockoutEvery user signs in with their own credentials. Repeated failed logins lock the account automatically.
- Password policy enforcementMinimum strength and rotation rules are enforced system-wide, not left to habit.
- Admin-controlled reactivationA locked or disabled account comes back only when an administrator reactivates it.
How early access works
Intro call
Walk through your fleet, crew, and current process: spreadsheet, paper, or both. Includes a demo walkthrough of the platform with test data so you can see the system in action from the start.
Demo session
We walk you through the platform using test data representative of your operation, so you can see scheduling, flight following, and duty compliance in action before committing.
Parallel setup
Your isolated instance is stood up alongside your existing process. Nothing changes for your crew yet.
Run in parallel
Build real schedules and flight plans in FlightPathOS while your current process stays the system of record.
Decide & integrate
If it's a fit, switch over fully. Early operators get priority integration pricing.
FAQ
What CARs subparts does FlightPathOS support? +
702, 703, 604, and 406. FlightPathOS covers the CARs subparts that apply to smaller commercial, business, and flight training operators, not a mainline carrier's ops centre.
Is this actually affordable for a small operator? +
That's the point of it. FlightPathOS is priced and sized for an operator running a handful of aircraft, not built as an enterprise system with a small-operator price tag stapled on. Not everything in aviation has to be overpriced.
How does early access work? +
You run FlightPathOS alongside your current process (spreadsheet or paper) for a trial period. Nothing about your existing operation changes until you decide it's working. Successful integration from early access means preferable pricing.
Does the AI make the final call? +
No. The scheduler uses AI to fully optimize your schedule based on your provided criteria, preferences, and available resources, saving significant time on crew and flight planning. It proposes assignments in Planning and Draft mode; a person reviews and approves before anything goes Live to crew. On the roadmap: AI assistance for on-the-spot scheduling and IRROPs situations, surfacing multiple options so you can quickly evaluate trade-offs and make the most effective call in real time.
Where is my data hosted? +
Each operator gets a dedicated, isolated deployment; nothing is shared across operators. FlightPathOS is designed, built, and owned in Canada.
FlightPathOS helps you catch scheduling and compliance errors before they reach crew. FDP guidance is advisory; the operator and PIC remain responsible for determining actual duty limits. It is a tool, not a certification: your operation remains responsible for regulatory compliance, and FlightPathOS carries no Transport Canada approval or endorsement.
